A leopard patrolling territory in the early morning sun

Description

The leopard is a solitary and territorial animal and is typically shy and very alert and is generally most active between sunset and sunrise. Leopards are largely solitary animals, therefore they need to demarcate and defend their territories. This is done by patrolling and marking the boundaries of their territories. This image of a male leopard patrolling his territory was captured in the early morning in an area where leopards are common but are rarely seen.
